The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), led by Chairperson Erastus Ethekon, HSC, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Dr. Hon Musalia W Mudavadi, EGH. During the meeting, PCS Mudavadi congratulated the commissioners on their appointment and emphasized the importance of serving with humility, resilience, and integrity to uphold the independence of the IEBC.
The PCS pledged his office’s support, particularly in enhancing engagement with the Kenyan diaspora and facilitating resources necessary for free, fair, and credible elections. Chairperson Ethekon highlighted the Commission’s progress in preparing for the 2027 General Election, underscoring the value of stakeholder collaboration and government support in ensuring an inclusive and transparent electoral process.
