Expanding Voter Access: IEBC Prepares Nationwide Rollout of Enhanced Registration

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has successfully concluded a nationwide training programme for Huduma Centre Voter Registration Clerks, marking a major step toward inclusive and accessible voter services. Ahead of the launch of the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise on March 30, 2026, in Kwale County, the Commission is set to deploy clerks across 59 Huduma Centres. Leaders including Chairperson Erastus Ethekon and Commissioner Dr. Ann Nderitu emphasized professionalism, integrity, and citizen-focused service as key pillars in strengthening public trust and ensuring every eligible Kenyan has the opportunity to register.
