Strengthening Preparedness for the 14th May 2026 By-Elections

I joined IEBC Vice Chairperson Fahima Araphat, OGW, and Commissioner Dr. Alutalala Mukwhana in officially opening a five-day Training of Trainers (ToTs) workshop as part of our preparations for the by-elections scheduled for 14th May 2026 in Emurua Dikirr Constituency for Member of the National Assembly, as well as Porro Ward and Endo Ward for Member of County Assembly.

As Chairperson of the Electoral Operations Committee, I noted that this training is a critical milestone in our readiness efforts, equipping trainers with the knowledge and skills to support subsequent training sessions in their respective electoral areas.

I reaffirmed our commitment as the Commission to delivering free, fair, and credible by-elections through thorough preparation, effective voter education, and strong stakeholder engagement.
